Program Overview
Centura College offers a comprehensive Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) diploma program at its Newport News campus. This program equips students with the technical skills necessary for entry-level employment in the air-conditioning and refrigeration industry. The duration is 12 months, with day and night courses to help accommodate busy schedules.

Upon completion of the program, graduates will be set to perform duties associated with employer or customer needs in the HVAC industry. Potential career paths include plumbing and HVAC contract work, wholesale trade work, state, local, and private educational services, retail trade services, and self-employed contract work.
