Program Overview
Our Carpentry Diploma program, offered at our Norfolk, Virginia campus, is designed to equip students with the technical skills necessary to build, install, and repair residential, commercial, and industrial structures. From floors and walls to windows and doors, you’ll learn how to construct and repair various building frameworks and structures using wood and other materials.

Graduates of our Carpentry program have found successful employment in residential construction, nonresidential building construction, building finishing contract work, and more. A person with a carpentry diploma can explore a wide range of job opportunities in the construction and related industries by becoming a carpenter, construction supervisor, construction estimator, cabinetmaker, building inspector, site foreman, and more.
